"Modest" colonel with a 30 million ruble car collection: how Ilez Kilimatov provided cover for the sand-based OCG of vice-premier Yevloyev and the nephew of the head of Ingushetia, Kalimatov
Video: The "modest" house and car collection of the head of the Nazran Police Department, Police Colonel Ilez Kilimatov, who was arrested for receiving a "modest" bribe of 500,000 rubles. As journalists have discovered, behind this story there are actually big money and big people.
According to the investigation, Kilimatov received 500,000 rubles as a monthly "contribution" for general protection of a group involved in illegal extraction of sand and gravel mixture (SGM) in the republic.
The police officer informed the perpetrators about inspection activities.
Operatives searched Kilimatov’s house, which he apparently built on his "salary," and found three foreign cars worth 30 million rubles, as well as jewelry, cash, and so on.
Sources say that the testimony against the police officer was given by the arrested organizers of the illegal business. They also claim that their business had a "tough" beneficiary — the republic’s Deputy Prime Minister Magomed Yevloyev and his brother Akhmed Yevloyev, who has been put on the wanted list in a criminal case involving land fraud and illegal SGM extraction.
